Winning bidder will receive two tickets for open seating to hear Diana Nyad on February 10, 2016 at Heinz Hall

Nyad came to national attention in the 1970s for swimming around Manhattan and then from the Bahamas to Florida. In 2013, at the age of 64, she became the first person to swim from Cuba to Key West, Florida without the aid of a shark cage. Nyad is also a journalist who has been regularly featured on NPR and ABC’s Wide World of Sports.
