Beet Generation Farm is in the process of becoming certified organic. Owners Libby Batzel and Ali Levesque practice farming techniques that are much more rigid than federal organic standards. Their main job is sustaining healthy soils. They incorporate literally tons of compost, cover crops, and various rock supplements as needed. They take multiple soil tests each year to accurately know what is going on underground. Organic compost, sun, well water, and hard work grow Beet Generation's fruits and vegetables.

This item is for the garden and food enthusiast. The package consists of a wide variety of fruit and vegetable starts for a beautiful and abundant home garden. You'll receive enough plants to fill a mid-sized plot. When you pick up your plants at the Sebastopol farm, you'll be treated to a personal tour with farmer Libby Batzel. You'll have an opportunity to see many of the plants you'll be receiving already growing as well as clear instructions about all your plants. The tour and consultation will take about 90 minutes.
