At Tierra, everything comes from our farm. They grow it right there in the field where you pick up your shares, at Airport Boulevard and Hwy. 101. You can walk out to the fields and see where you food came from. Tierra specializes in unique chile products, dry beans and corn meal, carrots, and strawberries as well as new and diverse vegetable varieties. Your weekly share comes with a thoughtfully composed menu that ensures you know what you are getting, how to prepare the items and suggestions for what might be done with them. We are a family of five that have been Tierra CSA members for many years- so long that I remember using their veggies to make baby food for our 4th grader! Tierra is a community treasure, offering the farm as a local gathering spot- a chance to connect with neighbors, walk the fields, pick a flower, chew on a carrot, check out the view from the barn loft.

That’s the first time I ever saw him eat a carrot.

Tierra Vegetables produces some of the most delicious chipotles I have ever tasted. Ranch grown chiles are smoke-cured over orchard fruitwood and grapevine cuttings in an outdoor brick oven.
