The Children’s Museum’s mission is to inspire children’s creativity and stimulate their curiosity to discover the world through playful exploration of the arts and sciences. You and your youngsters will have a blast doing art projects, participating in a Musical Moments class, storytelling, and other activities. There's a playground, a garden, party area and art room. You'll explore the farm, sit on the tractor, splash in the miniature Russian River and more. Mary's Garden takes visitors on a journey through Sonoma County and encourages discovery through play. The Children's Museum of Sonoma County is excited to kick off their summer of Wonder Camp! Each week, the Museum offers a themed morning camp with focuses on LEGO Robotics, gadget building, art, and science. Afternoon Adventure camps extend the day so children can explore Mary’s Garden, fish in the miniature Russian River, build forts, harness energy from the sun and help in the garden beds. Children will leave excited about each day's play and exploration-- and enhance their love of learning. There are five different camps chock-full of art and science projects, exploration, and imaginative play. The camps welcome rising kindergarteners through fifth grade students (ages 5 - 10).

Great place for kids under 6. We visited twice in one week. The place is really well designed with lots of activity stations including a creek, craft room, mini-farm, and a picnic area.
