The folks at Table 128 have put a lot of thought into their new approach to dining. After twenty years of cooking, they want to combine the best of what was with the best of what can be to offer an eating experience like no other.

Meals are served family style and prix fixe. Family style means dinner arrives on platters to be passed around the table. Prix fixe means there is one price for the evening. Table 128 serves 3-5 course dinners with the menu price ranging from $38-$58. The menus are set and posted online every Wednesday for the upcoming weekend. Dinner is served Thursday through Monday nights, April through November, and Friday through Sunday, December through March.

Stopped in for dinner on Sunday evening and were welcomed to select a table for two on the picturesque patio. Idyllic setting being enjoyed by several parties of various sizes at tables inside and out while others were just enjoying wine in the garden. Superb service and attention from waitress, sommelier and owner made us feel so welcomed. I chose the $35 three-course dinner with ginger-sauce dumplings, perfectly-spiced and cooked ribs with bok choy and profiterole dessert. Partner had Cajun spiced prawns with frisée salad and beautiful beets with goat cheese and a glass of recommended local Pinot. Overall, a perfect stopover for finest dining in Boonville after Mendocino weekend!

The food is local, fresh, and family style. The staff is awesome and fun, and really makes you feel at home. Sitting around the fire pit after dinner is a must! I cannot wait to go back!
