Join us as we celebrate the 26th year of the always-magical Stapleton Ballet Nutcracker! Marvel at the timeless tale of Clara and her wondrous adventure with the Nutcracker, as the story opens with new staging, costumes and sets in the lavish Victorian holiday party. The captivating, mysterious Uncle Drosselmeyer makes a grand entrance, weaving his magic into the festivities and placing a spell on Clara's wooden toy. Audiences of all ages will be dazzled as Clara and the Prince journey through a whirling snowstorm to the Land of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Act two highlights include a colorful dancing Chinese Lion, a mysterious Arabian marketplace; and the lovable Mother Ginger and the buffoons hidden in her massive skirt. Artistic Director Virginia Stapletons production features over 230 dancers from the Stapleton School of the Performing Arts and guest artists.
