Description
Grab a lab coat and stethoscope and enjoy an exciting behind the scenes experience at a busy veterinary hospital.
You will shadow one of our doctors and experience first hand what it is like to be a veterinarian. Ask questions and perhaps see a real surgery. This program will be customized to fit the individual interests of the recipient.
Must be at least 8 years old. Program is approximately 2 hours.
To get ready for this once in a lifetime experience, you will recieve a basket full of goodies: 2 books, Future Vet Junior Stethoscope, t-shirt, ball cap, dog toy, dog treats, a pencil, stamp, bookmark and the cutest little stuffed animal dog with a Drake Center harness.
This would be for children especially interested in animal care. They are able to go through the treatment area of the hospital for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour. They will also have the opportunity to use a stethoscope, look at slides through a microscope, examine X-rays , watch and assist with a routine physical exam and even perform mock surgery.

Pick up schedule and location details will be provided after auction close. If the bidder chooses to have item shipped to them, Shipping and Handling fee and any additional insurance will be added to the winning bid amount.
