AMERICAN CINEMATHEQUE’S AERO THEATRE located at 1328 MONTANA AVENUE in SANTA MONICA. Please see restrictions and requirements below.
Special Instructions
Please read carefully before bidding!!!
- Use of the Aero Theatre for a one-time event in 2015, depending on availability (cannot be evening Thursday – Sunday, can be weekend daytime and Monday – Wednesday evening).
- The winner must also cover projectionist fee ($352 or current price at the time of the event) + film rental fee (depending on the studio/distributor), totaling roughly $700.
- Depending on what is decided to be shown, if the theatre has to book a film for you, the studio will usually require a film loan fee. No film can be shown without being cleared by the distributor. The only way it can be free is if you are able to get the film fee waived by the distributor.
- Insurance requirements will need to be reviewed with Aero Theatre staff.
- At least a month advance notice is required in order to book an event / films.
