WALKER ART by Nick Cerrato 

Nick Cerrato is a young man with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy.  He has transformed his disability into a positive form of artistic expression. He uses his feet to create original one of a kind acrylic paintings.  He also uses the wheels of his walker in his creations.  The artist chooses shades, pigments and tones that compliment each other, but in some cases he uses starkly contrasting colors that create bold interactions of shapes and stroke direction.  He ensures that each piece of "Walker Art" aka "Foot Art" is signed with a unique signature made with his dominant left foot.  Some of Nick's paintings have been featured at the Teen Arts Festival at Sussex Community College, the Vernon Township Board of Education Building, the Vernon Inn, and on this website.
