Every year more than 9 billion of the 12 billion magazines published in the United States either wind up in landfills or get incinerated. We hand crafted each bead in our jewelry using paper recycled from magazines and catalogs that would have otherwise been thrown away. There is much beauty to be found in recycled materials! We like to think of the paper as tiny time capsules preserving pictures of lost tribes, great women, the wildness of nature, the Titanic and so much more! All of our art is a reflection of what we feel needs to happen: a sustainable and creative way of living on planet Earth!
