A fan favorite in Dallas, Cody Eakin continues to impress both on and off the ice as one of the Stars’ blue collar skaters. Drafted by the Washington Captials in 2009, Eakin spent the first few years of his professional career honing his craft in the AHL. In 2012, Eakin was traded to the Stars, where he spent another year in the AHL before being called up to the Stars. Last year, Eakin skated in all but one game, tallying 16 goals and adding 19 helpers. In the playoffs, Eakin scored 2 goals and added 3 assists, helping the Stars take the #1 seeded Anaheim Ducks to six games before bowing out.
