Eloise Humphrey and Daphne Comaskey grew up in the suburbs of Connecticut. Paul Comaskey grew up in the thriving city of Birmingham, England.

In 1993 our talents collided when we opened our first restaurant together in San Francisco, CA. Kate's Kitchen, known for it's classic American breakfast and lunch menu, was deemed "the hottest thing to hit the Haight since LSD" by The Berkeley Guides. It was the beginning of a long and wonderful journey together for the three restauranteurs. Flash forward several years... The East Coast was calling – they found themselves in Maine where they continued to hone their craft and became part of a great community.  Flipside Pizza opened in October of 2010 and been serving delicous organic food ever since!
