The clinic is a quiet, safe space in which multiple recliners are set up in small groups. One or two acupuncturists are available to treat the patients who are visiting the clinic. You simply come to the clinic, sign in and then relax in a recliner for a treatment and slip away into that meditative peacefulness commonly referred to as “acu-land.” Depending on the time of the day, you may be sharing the treatment space in a group of 3-7 other people who are resting quietly next to you.

Because multiple people can be treated at once, treatment prices are greatly reduced (often less than a co-pay for those who have insurance) and patients are able to come in multiple times a week. Acupuncture works best when used consistently, and the community model makes regular treatments an option, even for those without health insurance.
