It’s been a great run thus far over the past four decades, with a record 30.9 million passengers traveling on Amtrak last year alone. This includes more than 300 daily trains operating at speeds up to 150 mph.  When you consider how this vital transportation provider connects 46 states and the District of Columbia (and even three Canadian Provinces), it’s clear that Amtrak moves America.
