It comes framed and matted in white. The complete size is 13x17 inches and the actual painting size is approximately 8x10 inches.

Each homescape painting is unique and handmade. The piece begins as a pen drawing that gets traced in crayon to add a layer of wax resistance before applying the watercolor. Once I add the paint, I must work quickly and carefully to blow the paint around the sky area with a straw and then apply two types of salt to create the dreamy texture in the sunset sky.

This painting is reminiscent of any block in Brooklyn and reminds us of the shapes, colors and atmosphere of our neighborhoods in the best borough.
