As an orchestral player, Jesse has performed with such fine orchestras as the Boston String Players, Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphony Nova, Boston Philharmonic, Symphony New Hampshire, Granite State Symphony Orchestra, and has previously held Principal positions with Boston Civic Symphony, Beverly Hills Chamber Orchestra, Interlochen Symphony Orchestra, Bozeman Symphony Orchestra, Red Lodge Festival Orchestra, and the Intermountain Opera Association. As a chamber musician, Jesse performs regularly as the second violin with the Emma String Quartet and the Tempest String quartet, both based out of Boston. He has also previously performed first violin with the Vivace String Quartet, Duo Dolce and the Evelina String Quartet.As an Umpqua Young Artist Competition winner, Jesse has soloed with the Great Falls, Glacier, Bozeman, and Umpqua Chamber Symphonies. He has also been a finalist or winner of the Musicfest Northwest Competition, Minnesota Symphonia Competition, and Couer d’Alene Concerto Competition. His orchestral involvement has brought him to perform in venues such as the Minoretenkirche, the St. Salvador Church, and at the Mozarteum Conservatory.


In addition to his extensive experience in the Classical Music scene, Jesse was also the fiddle player for the Broken String Band, a contra dance and swing band based out of Bozeman, MT, for 10 years.


Jesse has a Bachelor of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music and is currently studying with Mark Steinberg, earning his Masters, at the Manhattan School of Music. Jesse has participated in master classes with Hilary Hahn, Rachel Barton-Pine, Midori, Naoko Tanaka, Vera Beths, and Will Fedkenheuer, Donald and Vivian Weilerstein, Roger Tapping, Paul Biss, and the Pacifica, American, Fry Street, Arianna, Belcea and Parker Quartets. His previous teachers and mentors have been Masuko Ushioda, Joanna Kurkowicz, Carrie Krause, Stephen Cepeda, Javier Pinell, and Cyrus Forough.


Having absorbed wisdom from all of his past and current musical mentors, Jesse is excited to pass on his knowledge and inspiration to his private students. Jesse accepts private violin students of all ages and levels of experience.
