A truly unique opportunity. A chance to take a private class with Michele Quan at her studio. These classes are not open to the public. This item is for kids only. Each session is 2 hours and takes place at the studio in Brooklyn. The first session is to make, the second session is for glazing/painting. Firing and materials included. Studio is located in Brooklyn. Michele Quan of MQuan Studio designs and sculpts handmade ceramic art & objects for the home and garden. The pieces become a canvas for her love of drawing, painting, text and color. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Michele moved to New York City in 1984 to study graphic design & photography at Parsons School of Design. Twelve years prior to embarking on her current medium of clay, she co-founded the NYC jewelry company Me&Ro. Her work continues an ongoing pursuit to bring visual form to the thread that connects us with the experience of the world in which we live.
