Night Moves
Kelly Reichardt s suspense-thriller NIGHT MOVES is the story of three radical environmentalists coming together to execute the most intense protest of their lives: the explosion of a hydroelectric dam. Harmon (Peter Sarsgaard, The Killing) is a former Marine, radicalized by tours of duty overseas. His life in the military is behind him, but at heart he remains excited by the prospect of mayhem and destruction. Dena (Dakota Fanning, The Twilight Saga) is a high-society dropout who s moved west and cut ties with her family, edging ever deeper into radical politics. And Josh (Jesse Eisenberg, Social Network), their leader, is a self-made militant, devoted to the protection of the earth by any means necessary. As the three plan, carry out and then witness the fallout of their attention-grabbing act of sabotage, they find their own personal limits tested on a journey of doubt, paranoia and unintended consequences.
The Promotion
In a hilarious take on life in mid-management hell, two junior managers at a Chicago grocery store vie for a coveted promotion, while their wives and their co-workers can only stand back and watch how far the one-upmanship will go to get the job done.
Somebody up there likes me
Bob Byington s smart, subversive comedy skips through 35 years in the life of Max Youngblood (Keith Poulson, Red Flag), his best (and only) friend Sal (Nick Offerman, Parks and Recreation), and the woman they both adore (Jess Weixler, Teeth). As they stumble in and out of hilariously misguided relationships strung together with animated vignettes by Bob Sabiston (A Scanner Darkly) and an original score by Vampire Weekend s Chris Baio Max never ages, holding on to a mysterious briefcase that may or may not contain the secret to life.
God's not dead
90 minutes. A story of intersecting lives, each on a different path but all on the same journey - an atheist Philosophy professor (Kevin Sorbo), a converted Muslim (Hadeel Sittu), a callous businessman (Dean Cain), a desperate reporter (Trisha LaFache), an anxious pastor (David A.R. White), and an abused girlfriend (Cory Oliver). Weaving together in a journey of faith, denial, doubt, and trust leading to a decision that will change all their lives. (featuring NewsBoys)
Coffee Town
We all have our favorite hangouts, but how far would you go to protect your beloved coffee shop? When Will (Glenn Howerton, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia), a website manager for an electronics company, discovers that the local Coffee Town (which he uses as his own personal office) is scheduled to be converted into a bistro, he leaps into action. With the help of his two best friends, Will enacts a plan to stage a robbery in the hopes of convincing the corporate interest behind the switch that the neighborhood is unsafe. Can Will save his "office, ", overcome his rival, the disgruntled barista Sam (singing sensation Josh Groban), and win the heart of his coffee-house crush Becca (Adrianne Palicki, television’s Friday Night Lights)?
