Description
12 SMS KARATE KIDS karate classes (approximately 1-semester's worth) by New York Rendokan.
KARATE KIDS practice traditional Okinawan martial arts to learn self-control, concentration, respect, fitness, and self-defense skills. The kids learn to work in a disciplined, non-competitive environment and build respect for others and themselves.
SMS KARATE KIDS after school program at SMS has been a great success with kids from Kindergarten to Middle School participating.
The SMS KARATE KIDS program is presented by former SMS parents Robert Weinberg (10th Degree Black Belt) and Zhen Guo (Fourth Degree Black Belt) and Felix Sanes (Eighth Degree Black Belt). Robert Weinberg is a direct senior student of “Living Legend” Grandmaster Eizo Shimabukuro of Okinawa and brings more than 55 years’ experience to this program.
Classes meet Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 – 4:15 in Room 409.
Special Instructions
All 12 classes must be used in a single semester.
A karate uniform is required, the cost of which ($25) is NOT included in the above offer.
Certificate expires June, 2016.

NOTE: All items are for pick-up only at the Special Music School at 129 West 67th Street. Pickup will take place within three weeks of the auction closing.
