Description

This is a perfect bowl to add to your serving-ware collection and can be used in both informal and formal settings. It is about 11 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall- great for a family dinner. It makes a wonderful gift for yourself or friends! This bowl was hand made using a potters wheel and kiln. It was thrown on a wheel using stoneware clay, was bisque fired, then glaze fired. The glazes used on this piece are transparent blue with an accent of Val Cushing's orange glaze which produces a translucent shimmer around the rim. It was fired to cone 6. The bowl is lead-free, dishwasher safe, oven safe and microwave safe. It should not be used directly on a stove top.
