1 Bottle of Bouvet, AOC Saumur, France


In 1851 Etienne Bouvet bought 8 kilometers of underground galleries in Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent with his wife Celestine Ladubay. They used the galleries as cellars to create a winery named Bouvet Ladubay, after their names. Saumur Brut was one of the first designated Appellations in Loire Valley. This Cuvee is 100% produced from Chenin Blanc.  Deep yellow color with golden reflexes. Elegant aromatic structure of white flowers. Pleasing mousse, good length on the palate. Aperitif, smoked or roasted fish dishes, fruit desserts.


1 Bottle of Chateau de Montfort 2003, AOC Vouvray, France


Château de Montfort is a stunning estate located on the limestone plateau above the Loire River in the Touraine region. Average vine age is over 50 years, limiting yields and providing great concentration and depth in the wine. A 100% Chenin Blanc  with a pale green-gold color, aromas of Granny Smith apples with a hint of minerality. Refreshing style with great fruit and intense, lively acidity. Ideally served aperitif, with fish or chicken.


1 Bottle of Barton & Guestier 2002, AOC Vouvray, France


From the in 1725 by Thomas Barton established wine-shipping company raises today one of the oldest wine merchant established in Bordeaux. This 100% Chenin Blanc wine from the Vouvray, Loire Valley, has a pale straw color and aromas of white flowers mixed with white fruits.  A lovely and intense wine with floral notes, peach and pear flavor. Ideally as aperitif or with cheese and light desserts.

This wine is made by one of the big names of the French wine world, Alain Brumont. One on the pioneers of the Rhone wines. Since more than 50 years he is buying old vineyards to bring them back in production. Chateau Montus being the first he has bought in 1980. This 100% Tannat wine has been made for the first time in 1985.  With it’s a typical character this wine has flavors of cacao, balsamic, cigar, ….. Ideally served with red meat, chocolate and red fruit dessert.


1 Bottle of Vieux Telegraphe 1999, AOC Chateauneuf-du-Pape, France


Vieux Telegraphe winery is the flagship of the Brunier family. Named after the old telegraph post that stood on the same hill before the winery was build. Chateauneuf wines being known for their complexity as the winemaker can blend up to 14 different varieties of grapes, this wine consists of 65% Grenache noir, 15% Mourvedre, 15% Syrah and 5% Cinsault, Clairette and some other varieties. The wine has matured for 20/22 months in French oak vats of 60 Hl before bottling. Classic red wine, elegant, finesse. Non-filtered may contain sediments.
