Named after Francis Ford Coppola 's grandmother, Maria Zasa, was an Italian born in Tunisia, a French protectorate at the time. Votre Santé 2013 Pinot Noir reflects the beauty of the vintage. Lovely garnet color, this wine offers a tantalizing fragrance of wild strawberries, bergamot and star anise along with luscious flavors of briary raspberries, cherries and spicy oak. While we tend to like our Votre Santé Pinot on the lighter, elegant side, this year’s wine has a bit more flesh and volume to match the intense aromatics and lengthy finish, making it all the more sophisticated. Pairs beautifully with grilled mahi, lamb chops or a wild mushroom quiche.

A lively, expressive wine that features a pleasant jam of red berry flavors and a light inviting texture. Dark, ruby red in color, the wine also exhibits aromas of strawberry and hints of chocolate and cola. This wine is ready to enjoy now and its medium body and acidity makes it ideal for numerous food pairings. Aged in barrel; 18 months in 60% French oak and 40% American oak.
