This beautiful wood fired vessel measures approximately 17 inches tall by 11 across.

Wood firing is a ceramic firing process that creates unique patterns and designs caused by heat and ash. It is very time and labor intensive, but the results are one of a kind.

Ben Maier is a Leelanau based ceramicist and potter with a studio in Leland.
