"My Backyard" 19.5 x 23.5" framed and matted pastel print by Artist Peggy Harty, donated by Gallery Moab!

A little about the artist, Peggy Harty: Through the years I’ve explored color, form, and texture through quilting, photography, ceramics, and painting. Since retiring from teaching elementary school, I’ve pursued my artwork with more vigor. I enjoy working in an open studio with other artists and doing Plein Air in Moab’s beautiful surroundings.  

This painting was painted during Plein Air Moab out on Peggy's acre of land. Peggy commented, "I never tire of looking at my view of the La Sal Mountains. This particular Fall, my field was blooming with little purple asters and yellow rabbit brush." 

This is a  giclee print of an original pastel piece.
