The image for autism awareness is a puzzle piece which often signifies the puzzling nature of autism. Although autism is complex, it is being pieced together like a puzzle, with research taking the lead.

Piecing is exactly what Orrington, Maine, artist Joyce Gordon, Designs in Glass, did to create this beautiful autism awareness stained glass piece that will be raffled off through May 2, 2015. Raffle tickets are $5 each.

Proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets will benefit Woodfords Family Services' Community Case Management Family Emergency Fund. Woodfords is a nonprofit organization committed to the support and inclusion of people with special needs and their families in Maine communities. Many of our consumers and their families are living with autism.

The stained glass piece is 13.25" in diameter and drops 5.5" from the hanging chain. The value of the piece is $350.
