Description

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of a Classic Stage Company production with CSC Artistic Director Brian Kulick. Following on the heels of three previous Brecht productions (GALILEO, THE CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE and A MAN'S A MAN), CSC continues its ongoing exploration of the works of Bertolt Brecht with MOTHER COURAGE AND HER CHILDREN, arguably the playwright's best-known work and considered by many to be greatest anti-war play of all time. CSC’s production locates the action in the modern-day Congo as the most immediate contemporary allegory for Brecht’s never-ending war. The production will feature an entirely African-American cast with Tony Award-winner Tonya Pinkins in the title role. The winner will receive:

  • An Invitation for Two to the Meet & Greet and Design Presentations for MOTHER COURAGE AND HER CHILDREN

  • Q&A Session with CSC Artistic Director Brian Kulick

  • Two Tickets to the Opening Night Performance of MOTHER COURAGE AND HER CHILDREN at Classic Stage Company

  • An Invitation for Two to the Exclusive Opening Night Party with the Cast
