There are 3 large living areas: a great room with two wood fireplaces and the dining table, a TV room with a couch big enough for the whole family, and a game room for playing music or games. The kitchen is well equipped with a Thermador 6-burner range, wall oven, outdoor gas and charcoal grills, two dishwashers, plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and glasses, and a well-stocked pantry. The deck is great for relaxing in the sun and eating outside and enjoying the view. This beautiful home sits on an 8-acre property which is great for hiking and snowshoeing.

Shrewsbury is a small mountain town with many old farms and a great general store. In the warmer months, lakes in the valley are great for swimming and boating, and access to the Appalachian Trail is only 5 minutes from the house. In the wintertime, the skiing can’t be beat—Okemo is just 20 minutes away and Killington is just 35. Nearby Rutland has the best farmers market in Vermont on Saturday mornings all year, and there are great restaurants in Ludlow and Rutland. Come relax and enjoy!
