Description
JD Marston is an Ansel Adams Award winning Fine Art Landscape Photographer. These are the last of his fine prints produced on silver paper in a darkroom.
The photographs are traditional silver gelatine photographic prints, i.e., real photographs! not digital prints! The importance of that is silver gelatine prints, processed to museum archival standards will last hundreds of years... especially since they are "toned" in a finishing bath of selenium which coats the silver in the photos and protects them from environmental degradations - light, pollution, etc.
These photographs may be considered "rare", due to the fact that I will not print photos using this method any more...hence an increase in value.
He said he sold one recently for $3000.
This 11 inch square fine print is archivally matted, mounted, framed and signed. The frame measures 21 1/2"H x 17 1/4"W.
