Winning bidder will receive one week of Summer Day Camp from Hill House in Boston. It is valid for the following week (June 29th – July 2) for the summer of 2015. The Camp is for 5-12 year-olds. It runs Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm (with extended day options) each week and runs for 11 weeks, starting June 15 until August 27. It's located on Mt. Vernon Street, off Charles Street in Beacon Hill.

Hill House is a team of passionate administrators, instructors, board members and volunteers working to fund and execute service activities in order to meet the diverse social, educational, cultural and recreational needs of individuals and families residing in Boston’s downtown neighborhoods. Summer Camp in Downtown Boston
Hill House Summer Camp (ACA Accredited) is just around the corner! We are thrilled that you might be joining us. With Summer Camp options for children ages 3-11, we have a lot to offer your family. Exciting weekly themes, specialized daily programs, field trips and action-packed sports and games await. Our goal is simple; to provide your family with a high-quality, safe summer camp in Downtown Boston. Scholarships are available. Learn more about our Day Camp and Kiddie Kamp offerings.
Sessions, Dates and Themes
Unique and innovative themes will challenge campers to use their imaginations to set sail aboard a pirate ship, travel to distant planets, or swing from a flying trapeze. New adventures await campers each session. Field trips complement weekly themes and leave campers eager to discover what other sessions have in store.

Day Camp: Ages 5-11
Whether your child is a returning camper or attending for the first time, our weekly themes, exciting outdoor activities and field trips are sure to make this summer your child’s most memorable and thrilling yet! Day Camp provides a welcoming atmosphere in which your camper will thrive. Whether swimming in the Charles River Park Pool or performing hands-on science experiments; your child is sure to have a summer filled with fun, excitement and new friends.
For one day each week, campers will participate in specialized activities such as cooking and foreign language. Field trips to places such as George’s Island, the New England Aquarium, and Northeastern’ s Marine Science Center provide an outlet for exploration. Each week ends with a “Friday Festival”.
Uniquely themed weeks will challenge campers to use their imaginations to travel to distant lands, compete in the summer Olympics, follow clues to solve mysteries, and set sail aboard a pirate ship. New adventures await campers every week. Join us for one week or the entire summer!
Sports Camp: Ages 7-11
Hill House’s Sports Camp is a strand of Day Camp; an ideal option for the young athlete looking to polish their skills during the summer months. Sports Camp combines the fun and excitement of Day Camp with an afternoon of sports and games.
Campers will build confidence both on and off the athletic field through strong coaching and teamwork, while learning the importance of fundamentals and sportsmanship. Daily activities include swimming at the Charles River Park Pool, a “sport of the day” (soccer, baseball, basketball, flag football, etc.) and other games and activities that teach campers basic skills and rules. Sports Campers will join Day Campers for weekly field trips, and will also get the chance to tour the TD Bank Garden and Fenway Park.
Kiddie Kamp
Kiddie Kamp at Hill House is the perfect combination of new and exciting experiences and a safe, familiar environment. Join Hill House instructor and child development specialist Maggie Magner and many of our beloved Hill House teachers and coaches for a summer full of games, crafts, stories, songs, age-appropriate sports activities and outdoor fun. Your child will build confidence, independence and friendships.
Each week, campers explore playful themes through arts and crafts projects that allow their imagination and creativity to flourish. We love to play in the summer sun as games and activities make outdoor play fun for everyone. Whether your child will be entering preschool for the first time or is a “drop-off” veteran, our experienced staff and low counselor-to-child ratio ensure each child will receive the attention they need.

Sensory Art (Ages 1-2) - This class introduces your child to all different types of materials and textures that will encourage exploration and activate their senses. Activities include finger painting, playing with sand, water, colored rice, noodles, and much more! Offered: Fall, Winter & Spring
Mundo de Colores (Ages 1-3) - Children will be introduced to simple Spanish phrases and colors while creating art projects and crafts. Skills gained in this class include hand-eye coordination, visual and fine motor skills, sequencing and arranging abilities, awareness of colors, shapes, shades, textures, and decision-making techniques. Offered: Fall, Winter & Spring
Toddler Art (Ages 2-3) - This is an introduction to art and its different forms. Some of the skills your child will learn include: hand-eye coordination, visual and fine motor skills, sequencing and arranging abilities, awareness of colors, shapes, shades, textures, and decision-making techniques. Pre-School Picassos (Ages 3-4) - This class is an introduction to different forms of art and materials including paint, clay, watercolors, and craft making. It will focus on preschool related themes and activities. Skills practiced during class include: hand-eye coordination, visual and fine motor skills, sequencing and arranging abilities, awareness of colors, shapes, shades, textures, and decision-making techniques. Junior Art (Ages 4-6) - This class will expand children's knowledge and awareness of color, shape, and space. They will learn how to use materials and grow in the craft of art while expanding their appreciation for art. Offered: Fall, Winter & Spring
Advanced Art (Ages 6-12) - This art class is being offered for the motivated and talented student who would be energized by the possibility of creating their own projects. They will be given plenty of guidance and direction while working on their creative endeavors. This class is perfect for the student whose level of focus and imagination would be encouraged by a bit of creative freedom. Offered: Fall, Winter & Spring
Architecture Drawing (Ages 6-12) - This class is for the student who is detail oriented and enjoys drawing meticulously. Students will explore how to create a sense of dimension and distance, through perspective drawings of buildings. We will further create an illusion of space, by learning how to work with shadow and light. Offered: Fall, Winter & Spring
Baseball:
Born to Play Baseball (Ages 3-4) - This program introduces children to the fundamentals of baseball through fun games
and activities. Whether in the gym at 74 Joy Street or on the Boston Common during the warmer months, players will get a chance to be active and learn basic skills including hitting, fielding and throwing. Offered: Fall, Winter & Spring
T-Ball (Age 5) - T-Ball is your child’s first experience of being on a team at Hill House. They learn the basics of team work and simple baseball techniques. Your child gets to practice once a week and play one game on the weekend. Every player is assigned a team as all teams are coed. Offered: Spring
AA Baseball (Ages 6-7) - In this coach pitched league, players will continue to build upon the basic fundamentals developed in T-ball while learning how to hit live pitching, play certain positions, and proper base running. Your child gets to practice once a week and play one game on the weekend. Every player is assigned a team as all teams are coed. Offered: Spring
AAA Baseball (Ages 8-9) - In this player pitched league, players will learn more advanced skills and strategies while safely developing pitching techniques as well as a comfortable hitting stance and hand placement. Your child gets to practice once a week and play one game on the weekend. Every player is assigned a team as all teams are coed. Offered: Spring
Major League Baseball (Ages 10-12) - As the culmination of the Hill House Little League progression, the Majors will provide a fun and competitive test for baseball players of all abilities. Standings will be kept to determine a league champion as teams will have multiple practices and games each week. Every player is assigned a team as all teams are coed. Offered: Spring
Backyard Baseball (Ages 6-12) - During the fall season, Backyard Baseball will take place on Sundays for players looking to polish their skills in the offseason. The clinic will focus on developing proper hitting, fielding, pitching and throwing skills while learning the intricacies of baseball. In addition to drills, players will participate in scrimmages that simulate real game situations.
