Once you put in your order at the counter, you are free to take a seat and the personable and accommodating staff will bring your food when it’s ready. Our chicken quesadilla was delivered crispy and hot, the cheese was melted, the avocado, sour cream and salsa enhanced the presentation and kicked up the flavor. Our Caesar salad had beautifully fresh romaine and was dressed perfectly. It far exceeded my expectations. I ordered a burger, but requested no cheese and no bacon, so I could better judge their version. Although the burgers are cooked in a turbo-chef that is pre-programmed, I was not really disappointed. Yes, there is no choice but well done, but the meat was of high quality, it was flavorful and juicy, and I enjoyed it.

On the evening I was there, several tables were occupied by lone diners hunched over their laptops. I’ve been there: sales trip, no time, lonely in my room, gotta get the report in before the morning. Here you can order a drink, catch a bite, and still stay on track. I also like the idea that in bad weather or when you’re in a rush, or you’re packing to leave but the kids are hungry, or all of the above, you can still get “real food".
