"Spike's Junkyard Dogs was everything Alex and Sarah had sworn it would be. The all-natural grilled dogs were tops. Ditto for the poodle fries and homemade sweet red pepper and onion relish. Though there are all kinds of offbeat toppers from Russian dressing and Swiss to barbecue sauce, cheddar, and bacon, this crowd went au natural. Sarah was disappointed that they were out of hubcaps a jumbo chocolate-chunk cookie, but brightened when she saw all the goodies in the car."

"I love this restaurant. I go almost every weekend with my boyfriend, and I enjoy it every time. The hot dogs, themselves, are thicker and meatier that a usual hot dogs. The buns are a nice, savory bread that anyone could enjoy. I definitely recommend going to Spikes!!"

"Spike's has great food. The service is quick and the food is cheap. Spike's is open late... a big plus."

"This place is the best fast food in Providence. No qualms with the staff: they do anything they can to get you filled fast. Food's reliable, portions are huge and refills on soda? What else can you ask for? Great break from the junk food norm. PS: Thanks for offering the veggie dogs. Now my roommate can't complain about not finding something to eat. And the delivery's great."

"Spike's has great food as well as a daring decorating that creates a comfortable atmosphere. It's open pretty late at night, and I don't usually like hot dogs, but there is just something about Spikes that rocks the casbah. Anything you would want to put on a dog... they have it. They also serve up veggie dogs. They also make french bread pizza that is pretty good. Service can be a be a little on the slow side, but that is because they are not serving crappy fast food. Try it!"

"Enjoy every kind of dog topping there is with a 100% all beef dog longer than the bun! And WOW can't beat the curly dog tail fries. But the junkyard pizza takes the cake with tangy sauce, smothered in cheese on a delicious doughy crisp roll. I love the contests and pics! And the theme is very unique! It's got it all!"

"Spike's Junkyard Dogs chain is the ultimate antidote to bad fast food. If you like hot dogs, you're in for a treat, but if you don't like hot dogs, you can still enjoy one of the subs or pizzas. Dogs are available with numerous toppings and combinations, including the samurai with teriyaki sauce, the '57 T-bird with honey mustard and Swiss, and the vegetarian Gandhi dog."

"Do not forget to try their hot dog eating contest. If you can eat six hot dogs in 90 minutes you get a free t-shirt, and if you can beat the store record (varies by location) for the number of hot dogs the tab is on Spike's. It is a contest worth trying."

"The best place!!!! I know people who don't even like hot dogs, but they love a hot dog from Spikes. The hot dogs taste good at any time of the day, but they're especially yummy late at nught after a concert or a night clubbing, MMMMNNN!!!!"
