1 magnum bottle of Dutton-Goldfield - 2012 Angel Camp Vineyard Pinot Noir from the Anderson Valley.
About the wine:
A 1.5L bottle of our single-vineyard from Anderson Valley. 2012 was as friendly a growing season as it gets: the dry spring prompted early budbreak, May flowering weather was excellent, and a warm summer and fall with no heat spikes gave us fruit with beautiful ripeness—brown seeds, thick, dark skins, and great flavor. The result is a vintage of wonderful abundance and balance. This richness is apparent in the nose, which lures you in with aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, sweet plum, tobacco and sandalwood. The mouth is creamy and decadent, with the black cherry and plum fruit enveloped by toffee and Asian spice overtones. A chewy caress of tannins carries and accentuates the lengthy sweet boysenberry pie finish. The juxtaposition of dark and bright makes it a fascinating wine, and a great match for creamy goat cheese or dishes featuring dark fowl meat.

Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, item will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA on the designated pick up days or it can be mailed at the winning bidder’s expense.
For planning, note that the pick up days are Friday, March 27, 2015 and Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Sebastopol, California. All information and details about pick up times and location will be given in the auction closing email.
Wine is shipped via AIM Mail Center. Here are the special notes in regards to shipping wine:
1. All wine requires a wine shipper in addition to any shipping and/or insurance charges. The price of a wine shipper for a magnum is $10 and the estimated shipping cost for the West Coast is $29 and $36 to the East Coast (not including Alaska and Hawaii). Actual shipping will be charged at time of shipping. Magnum bottles cannot be combined with other bottles.
2. Wine is shipped “adult signature required” and the delivery must be signed for, it cannot be left without a signature. There is an additional $7.50 charge for this and it cannot be waived.
3. Wine can be shipped to the following 30 states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. If a state is not listed, state law prohibits wine from being shipped there.
