8 Count Dance Academy was established in 2009 and is one of the fastest growing studios in West Los Angeles.  Directors and owners Sarah D'Agostino & Sarah Svendsen pride themselves on their dedication and committment to offering superior technical training, emphasizing the importance of hard work and dedication, and encouraging dancer unity and camaraderie.

8 Count offers dance classes for children ages 18 Months - 18 Years in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, & Hip-Hop. The academy has six National Award Winning Competitive Dance Teams at  Performance & Company levels that compete both regionally and nationally.  Team auditions are held every August.  

8 Count's new studio has two dance rooms with state-of-the-art sprung dance floors with "Marley" overlays. These sprung dance floors absorb shock, enhance performance, and greatly reduce injuries.
