We opened Your Neighborhood Studio in November of 2006, on Washington Boulevard at the corner of Center Street and by 2009, we had grown out of our special place and moved to the former Debbie Allen Dance Academy, located on Hayden Avenue in Culver City. We grew from one small studio to three studios.

YNS now offers over 100 classes per week including adult and youth classes! Cardio or Choreography, come dance your heart out! Our Technique classes include Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Broadway, West African, Bollywood, Tahitian, Breakin, House, Strip Hop and more! Our Cardio classes include Dance it Out!, Hip Hop Fit, Zumba, Plyojam, Burlesque, Groov3, Pop Video, Dancehall and Old School.

Your Neighborhood Studio provides a family-friendly environment for your young dancer, whether they are just starting their journey in dance or they are continuing their dance progression.  Our eight week session program is designed to give kids individual attention and support while working on technique and fostering the joy of dance.  You may purchase a session package for the 8 weeks or pay per class, as drop-ins are welcome. Our classes combine the joy of dance and technique in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Bollywood and Hip Hop.
