Description
Anxious about the current state of college admissions today? Relax.
On Friday, April 17, join us at Northside for our 4th annual college talk with speaker Dan Cattau. Dinner will be courtesy of Northside parents and restauranteurs Beth and Jim Masterson, who have generously offered to cater this event from Flacos Tacos, their acclaimed taqueria where authentic Mexican cuisine is a daily celebration.
Following dinner, Dan Cattau journalist, higher education consultant, and alumni admissions volunteer for Colgate University will discuss the current landscape of college admissions. A week before the event Dan will email attendees a survey so he can tailor his talk to collective interests. At previous events Dan has addressed essay strategies, the pros and cons of early decision and early action, theliberal arts versusmore specialized training, and the advantages conferred by an athletic background or unique talent.
Join Dan, agraduate of the London School of Economics, for an informative evening made memorable by Flacos Tacos and a little something to go: copy of Loren Pope's Colleges That Change Lives: 40 Schools That Will Change the Way You Think About Colleges. Each family in attendance will receive one copy of this noteworthy book.
