Storytelling is at the heart of everything we do in the newsroom of the Chicago Tribune, and its what drives the Trib Nation Events programming. Our live, public events reflect the Chicago Tribunes editorial mission, which includes capturing the Chicago experience as well as fueling conversation. Throughout the year, Tribune journalists join newsmakers, artists and entrepreneurs for public programs in venues across the Chicago region. These in-person experiences give you, our reader, a unique opportunity to engage with the stories that are shaping our neighborhoods and lives.

We produce more than 50 live events each year, including the annual Printers Row Lit Fest in early June and author talks throughout the year. We also schedule public policy discussions, unique experiences with our critics and columnists and a host of workshops and seminars produced with our Tribune colleagues on the Blue Sky Innovation team.
