There are many different aspects to the Mission Trip.  One important piece is THE PRICE OF GAS to get everyone there and back. 

• 4 vans traveling to and from Western (not West) Virginia Appalachia (over 500 miles x back & forth x 4 vans = 4000 miles)


• It costs about $8.05 for each van to drive 25 miles.


• It takes approximately 2.3 gallons of fuel to drive 25 miles in a van.


• A van's tank size is approximately 35 gallons.

=       A LOT OF GAS (you do the math)!
