Jonathan has exhibited his art in New York, Arizona, Tennessee, Hartford, Los Angeles, New Orleans and Nashville. His work has been displayed in numerous galleries, juried shows and public spaces. Major exhibits of his work have been presented twice at d.o.c.s. gallery in New Orleans, Vanderbilt University, LeQuire Gallery in Nashville, and Gallery 202 in Franklin, Tennessee. He has been listed in the Art in America Source book to the U.S. Art World and his paintings are in private collections across the country.
Jonathan was born in London, England and immigrated to New York as a child. Coming from a family of sculptors and musicians his love for art was inspired by many hours spent in the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. At the age of five his mother, who was a concert pianist, encouraged him to choose music or visual arts as a medium. He chose a paint brush and has done art ever since.
Jonathan has studied painting and drawing at Arizona State University, the Art Students League of New York, and the University of Tennessee. He has also studied psychology and philosophy on the graduate level and holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare. He currently resides in Franklin, Tennessee.
