Mrs. Summerour and Ms. Whooley's class created a New Orleans skyline. Each girl painted two buildings in the cityscape and then those buildings were assembled on a painted canvas. The girls decided that their masterpieces would look best against a nighttime sky.  Their colorful creation depicts our equally colorful city through the eyes of the first grade girls.  NOLA never looked better. 

 

All twelve girls signed the back of the canvas and a photo book chronicling the creation of the artwork is also included.
