Description
Kids jump right into camp week by learning how to write a script, work with cameras, lights, sound, special effects and finish the week with an edited movie! All camp weeks end with a screening at The Made in NY Media Center in DUMBO, Brooklyn!
AUTOMATIC STUDIOS is an interactive community where kids engage in and learn the art and technical skills of moviemaking.
- MOVIE ARTS© Afterschool Classes for Elementary (Grades 3-5) and Middle School (Grades 6-8) students. Classes are led by experienced industry professionals and conducted in fully equipped production studios and classrooms.
- MOVIE ARTS© Camps for kids (ages 8-14) during school vacations. Our professional staff guides participants through one week of focused & fun moviemaking activities to produce a screen-ready short film.
- MOVIE ARTS© parties that offer custom designed experiences to satisfy the creative interests of guests.

Only items such as gift certificates that fit in a standard envelope can be mailed if you are unable to pick up. You must notify us by Monday May 11th by emailing gala@sprucestreetnyc.org if you would like your item(s) mailed to you. There is a $1.00 shipping and handling fee for mailed items. Items will be mailed after scheduled pick up days. Pick up dates and times will be announced soon and will be the week after our event on May 9th 2015. Pick up location is at Spruce Street School (PS 397), 12 Spruce Street, NYC 10038. We are not responsible for items if you do not pick up during allotted pick up times and if no mailing arranged.
