In August 1990 Bubby’s began as a wholesale pie company. By November we opened the restaurant with two tables, a coffee brewer, and a pizza oven to bake pies in. From the day we opened, Tribeca embraced us and Bubby’s doors have been opened to neighbors, friends and anyone else who wanders by ever since. From its beginnings as a pie company, Bubby’s has set the standard for traditional American food, cooking everything from scratch, using many traditional family recipes from the best sources of ingredients available. Most of Bubby’s recipes are straight out of recipe boxes from all over America.

Only items such as gift certificates that fit in a standard envelope can be mailed if you are unable to pick up. You must notify us by Monday May 11th by emailing gala@sprucestreetnyc.org if you would like your item(s) mailed to you. There is a $1.00 shipping and handling fee for mailed items. Items will be mailed after scheduled pick up days. Pick up dates and times will be announced soon and will be the week after our event on May 9th 2015. Pick up location is at Spruce Street School (PS 397), 12 Spruce Street, NYC 10038. We are not responsible for items if you do not pick up during allotted pick up times and if no mailing arranged.
