Description
The offset wick of this otherwise plain cylindrical candle suggests something unexpected beneath the surface. As the candle burns down, a metal souvenir is unearthed and a new and evolving topography of wax is formed. The image of a building in a landscape comes into focus.
This very special scented candle is a collaboration with art and architecture company Snarkitecture and Joya
Notes of Prairie Dropseed, Water Lily, Tulip, Autumn Moor Grass, Cucumber and Blonde Woods, many of which can be found throughout the city’s parks
Joya is a Brooklyn based company that designs and produces fragranced artifacts. Devotees describe Joya products as "exquisitely packaged and thoughtfully conceived"
Special Instructions
Only items such as gift certificates that fit in a standard envelope can be mailed if you are unable to pick up. You must notify us by Monday May 11th by emailing gala@sprucestreetnyc.org if you would like your item(s) mailed to you. There is a $1.00 shipping and handling fee for mailed items. Items will be mailed after scheduled pick up days. Pick up dates and times will be announced soon and will be the week after our event on May 9th 2015. Pick up location is at Spruce Street School (PS 397), 12 Spruce Street, NYC 10038. We are not responsible for items if you do not pick up during allotted pick up times and if no mailing arranged.
