At 17-years old Dennis DeVoy already knew he wanted to be a professional hairstylist and began to work towards this goal.
He arrived in New York from his home state of Wisconsin in 1994 and immediately started to stake his claim in the industry. He spent four years honing his skills at famed salonGarren, during which time he also built up his portfolio by assisting freelance hairstylists.
Since making the transition to working solely as a freelance hair stylist,
DeVoy has found himself in demand working with some of the most prominent photographers in the fashion and beauty industries including Nathaniel Goldberg, Annie Leibovitz, David Bailey, Tom Munro, Patrick Demarchelier, Arthur Elgort, Irving Penn, Horst Diekgerdes, Jenny Gage & Tom Betterton, Richard Avedon, Glen Luchford, Enrique Badulescu, and Stephane Sednaoui.

You must notify us by Monday May 11th by emailing gala@sprucestreetnyc.org if you would like your item(s) mailed to you. There is a $1.00 shipping and handling fee for mailed items. Shipping will commence after the scheduled pick up days. Pick up dates and times will be announced soon and will be the week after our event on May 9th 2015. Pick up location is at Spruce Street School (PS 397) 12 Spruce Street, between Spruce Street and Beekman Street, NYC 10038. We are not responsible for items if you do not pick up during the allotted pick up times and do not notify us by May 11th that you would like your item(s) mailed.
