This flatwoven “Sumac” Stitch 4'x6' wool rug shows as a linear loop on one side and a braid on the reverse.  The two techniques used here include a short looped pile texture and a hand knotted pile texture. The hand-knotted portion utilizes a Tibetan knot. Both sides are usable as the face of the rug.
