The Arts Effect is an award-winning acting school for kids and teens ages 7-18. Named "The Best Youth Theater Program in NYC," the Arts Effect offers young actors of all experience levels high-quality training in a fun, supportive environment. Students explore sense memory, improvisation, scene and character development, and enjoy thrilling theater games. Participants perform scenes and monologues for family and friends on the final day of class.
Whether you’re looking for a fun after school activity, an outlet for creativity, a chance to try something new and challenging, or looking to star on Broadway or the big screen —The Arts Effect has something for the actor, artist, EVEN ACTIVIST in everyone.
Special Instructions
Parents may select ONE 12-week class from a wide range of after-school and weekend class options in our three locations: 440 Studios (downtown/Astor Place), Davenport Studios (midtown), and our Upper East Side studio.
Applicable to Summer Camp or Fall Semester classes. Cannot be used for musical theater offerings or the summer industry intensive.
