First, students painted the canvases with a rich background of red, orange, pink and yellow acrylic. Overseen by artist/WISH mom, Julia Alter, the students chose their own colors and painted two paper circles with whatever pattern or solid they wanted. Julia then assembled the circles and arranged them as flowers in a vase made from music paper. These mixed media pieces are 12”wx24”hx2”d.
