You have to see this to believe it. In collaboration with local artist and WISH mom, Stacey Mitchell, the students of 3C made this incredible underwater scene out of air-dry clay. The kids made clays sprigs and handmade coils and tubes finished with acrylic paints. Seaweed was made out of recycled water bottles that kids painted with acrylic paints to really show off the three dimensionality of the sculpture. Resting on a foundation of wooden base, this is an artistic, aquatic dream.
