Horn Strength & Conditioning is the West Coast’s first Starting Strength Gym. Located in beautiful Westchester, California, this private training facility is committed to helping people of all ages and athletic capabilities build stronger, healthier bodies through barbell training. Expert instruction from a certified, experienced coach will help you do it right from day one and avoid the common mistakes and setbacks that lead to stalled progress, frustration, injuries and wasted time in the gym.
Certificate for one two-hour private strength training session (Intro to Barbell Training - the Starting Strength Method; 120 minutes) for two people, plus a copy of the book Starting Strength. In this two-hour private clinic, you’ll learn to properly and safely perform the basic barbell lifts that form the foundation of the Starting Strength program. We’ll show you how to warm up, how to choose your appropriate starting weights, and how to arrange the exercises into a productive training program that will produce incredible increases in strength and performance. We’ll also cover basic nutrition guidelines and equipment recommendations so you’ll have all the tools you need to train effectively on your own.
