As a painter Davis works mainly in oil and watercolor.  In her realistic style, whether it is a still life, portrait or land/seascape, she endeavors to convey to the viewers the marvels and beauty she has witnessed in her travels at home and abroad.  Working generally from her own sketches and photographs she aspires to relate the pleasures and emotions her subjects evoked in her and possibly recall for the onlookers their own memories of people, places and things.
