Description
As a painter, Robert Marosi Bustamante is guided by the Jazz ethic of improvisation in exploring harmonies of color and composition, building up layers of texture and glazes. His pieces grow out of an interest in the figure as movement and characters transformed into archetypes, from ballplayers and farmers, invoking nostalgia and hero worship, to a series of Madonnas as divine beings.
This unique collage of newspaper clippings celebrates the storied career of San Francisco Giants Barry Bonds. Collage measures 3 feet high by 2 feet wide.
Donated by Monroe teacher Robert Marosi Bustamante -- THANK YOU!
